Support the Sociology Development Fund

The Department of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences studies human behaviors and the interaction between human groups and institutions. Sociologists take an in depth look at social inequities, including race, gender, class, rural societies, cultural traditions, family relations and criminal deviance. At UK, sociology students encounter these topics in the academic classroom but are also encouraged to get involved in the field. Participation in internships, research, volunteering in the community, and attending campus lectures and events are all strongly encouraged.

Your gift to the Sociology Development Fund will provide critical resources to respond to student needs, attract world-class faculty, and provide innovative opportunities to enable our students to compete in the global marketplace.

You can support the Sociology Development Fund on this page. If you'd like to give to another fund that is not listed, please use the search box in the upper right of this page and type in the desired fund to make your gift. We are grateful for your support!
