Support the Elizabeth Haynes Field Trip Fund

Thank you for your interest and support of the Elizabeth A. Haynes Field Trip fund, and for your commitment to field work and education in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences.

This fund was established in 2001 by Elizabeth A. Haynes, a Lexington, Ky. native, who earned an M.S. in Geology at UK. The purpose of the Haynes Field Trip Fund is to assist students in geological sciences by helping to cover the costs associated with the field trips that are necessary to their studies.

The Haynes Field Trip Fund is need-based and covers approximately one half of the entire cost of attending a geology field trip, which in the past have been to locations such as Canada, New England, the Southeastern Atlantic Coast, the Appalachian Mountains, and the Rocky Mountains.

You can support the Elizabeth Haynes Field Trip Fund on this page. If you'd like to give to another fund that is not listed, please use the search box in the upper right of this page and type in the desired fund to make your gift. We are grateful for your support!
