Support the Robert J. Baumann, MD Fund for Neurology Residents

Robert J. Baumann, chief of pediatric neurology at UK HealthCare, has created a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of the children in Kentucky he has treated and the medical residents he has helped to educate and train. It is in his honor that this fund was created so that his legacy could continue on through future generations of neurologists. The endowment will bolster the continued expansion of the Residency Program and ensure that our trainees have a well-rounded experience and will help position the UK Department of Neurology to be among the best programs in the United States.

Gifts given to the Robert J. Baumann, MD Fund for Neurology Residents support research and projects related to advancing neurology research and educational opportunities for residents within the neurology department. The fund supports young physician-scientists in their quest to gain a better understanding of the diseases affecting the neurological system in hopes of finding better treatment options and ultimately cures for the diseases. Through this endowment, residents are able to gain funding for research program expenses, designated support costs, and activities that support related, preparatory educational opportunities. Join us in our mission to support future neurologists who will follow Dr. Baumann's legacy and provide a better tomorrow for Kentucky's neurology patients.
