Support the Harrington Health Communication Scholarship Fund
The Harrington Health Communication Scholarship was established by UK alumnus and Professor Nancy Harrington to award excellence in achievement by a student in the Department of Communication's health communication course sequence. Students participating in the Department's health communication course work are able to identify how communication augments strategies for disease prevention and control, and learn how to identify and analyze communication strategies that are most effective for health promotion and wellness.
The award is designed to support students interested in gaining advanced knowledge and insight into how communication can affect patient, clinical, and community disease prevention and wellness outcomes, and the ability to apply these skills toward the betterment of their careers in the health professions.
You can support the Harrington Health Communication Scholarship Fund on this page. If you'd like to give to another fund that is not listed, please use the search box in the upper right of this page and type in the desired fund to make your gift. We are grateful for your support!
